Latent AI, a Machine Learning Compressor, Lands Key Backing

Latent AI has found a way to take advantage of the vast amounts of data that is constantly being produced by innumerable sources. Their newest product, called Data Engine – Gather and Analyze Platform (or DEAP for short), uses this information to provide insights into how customers are using various products or services in order to get ahead of their competitors.

The company recently won $22 million after winning TechCrunch’s Battlefield competition but they were not content with just beating out other startups; Latent AI wanted investors from all over backing them up too!

In short, this company claims that its software can do all of these things with nearly zero latency. The first thing it says is that the focus on individual machine learning algorithms and their hardware constraints has often left developers struggling to build edge AI models while dealing with some pretty serious tradeoffs inaccuracy or power consumption.

This new system promises more than a ten-fold reduction in size without sacrificing much accuracy whatsoever by using an “attention mechanism” where only what you need will run based on your environment and operational context.

The company is now applying this system to create a new compressor that will allow for the distribution of machine learning models. Their hope is that their technology will help provide solutions in fields such as fintech, healthcare, and IoT devices where latency can often be prohibitively high due to concerns about battery life or bandwidth constraints.
